With Thanksgiving coming up in the U.S. (where we live), it's a Thanksgiving themed show with turkey, stuffing, and potatoes. We introduce Ursula to Idahoan Cheese Potatoes, talk about Banquet Homestyle Bakes Creamy Turkey & Stuffing, Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes, taste Homel Compleats Turkey & Dressing, Oat Revolutions Instant Oats, and then wrap with the adventure in making Marie Callendar's Home Style Creations Stuffing & Turkey. Along the way we compare Ursula to a Sarlac, discuss Kevin's culinary beginnings, dried potatoes, and Ursula's difficulties with textures.
I like the Idahoan potatoes as a nice, neutral carrier for gravy.
I had recommended the Idahoan potatoes a few weeks ago. I really like them for a something that only needs hot water to make. I've combined them with an MRE meat patty and have a simple meal for camping that only needs hot water.
I'm absolutely loving this podcast, and I look forward to it every week.
